Igor Litvinov coming to Atlanta

There will be a group class at 8:30 PM on January 8th. Igor with his partner Julia were the United States Showdance Champions.

We had no idea this was the 2nd largest competition in the USA! But we did pretty well. Here are a few of the highlights in no particular order:

  • We saw Max Chernesky for the first time in person
  • We got first place in Novice Amateur Standard
  • We got second place in Pre-Champ Amateur Standard
  • Las Vegas was crazy with a boxing match brought hundreds of drunken, singing Brits
  • There was a Rodeo national championshop bringing hundreds of Cowboys
  • We had a great view of Las Vegas from the Excalibur hotel. Other than the view, we probably would avoid this hotel in the future
  • We met Michael Choi who I knew from Atlanta as a student who is moved to New York and is doing pretty well as a pro now.
